Dysarthria disability, We often take advantage of our god given privileges.  We forget what a beautiful privilege it is to speak.  The syntax of the poem is oh so beautifully constructed in a way to mirror dysarthria.  The words and sentences are short, staccato.  The slurred fluidity of the words mirroring what I imagine are the struggles of  dysarthria.  These words give the reader a sense of what it’s like to walk in the shoes of those who suffer from it.
